Hermitage Hotel

231 6th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37219

Don’t get the Hermitage Hotel confused with Andrew Jackson’s estate, The Hermitage, which lies just outside Nashville. This beautiful hotel was built in 1910 as a centerpiece of the downtown district of Nashville as it grew in prominence as a major American city. The locals who commissioned the hotel named it in honor of Jackson’s estate and his legacy.

The main attraction for all visitors of the hotel is the grand lobby, complete with painted glass ceiling and ornate detail. Besides the illustrious lobby, the interior of the entire hotel and the function areas are historically preserved and beautifully maintained to display the heart of Nashville style. The hotel has been visited by five US Presidents and several celebrities throughout its time and is, to this day, an exceptional attraction.
