Broadway

Broadway, Nashville, TN

Nashville’s nightlife lives here. Packed to the brim with bars, nightclubs, and live shows, Nashville’s Broadway district mainly stretches between the Cumberland River and Fifth Avenue. Farther down Broadway, historical landmarks such as the Union Station Hotel and the Frist Art Museum and retailers lie along the iconic thoroughfare. However, Lower Broadway it the true heart of the Nashville spirit. The tourist and local-filled stretch of Broadway from First to Fifth Avenue has become known as “Honky Tonk Highway” with live music blasting practically all-day and night.

Broadway got its start as the heart of Nashville when Jimmie Rogers began performing at various bars along the street. As his popularity grew, so did the competition. More and more performers began to advance the reputation of Broadway’s musical attraction, and soon it became a booming center for live music and nightlife.

Nashville formally welcomes you to the heart of Music City. Come for the music, stay for the drinks!
